All India Radio(AIR)-Kohima was noted by me after a long break on August 14th on its evening frequency on 4850kHz on 1410UTC.And there was news in Nagamese read by a lady that time.The overall reception was satisfactory.

And again on August 15th, I found its signal on its regular morning frequency on 4850kHz from 0117UTC onwards.From 0129UTC onwards it relayed the live broadcast of Independence Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony & the address to the Nation by Prime Minister of India from Red Fort,New Delhi.

As observed by many radio monitors, AIR-Kohima often remains off the air on shortwave but goes on the air atleast for a few days during the nation's two important events Independence Day & Republic Day.
And confirming the fact,I didn't hear its signal on the evening of August 15th and on the August 16th morning on 4850kHz.
As per my latest monitoring ,AIR-Itanagar on 4990kHz,AIR-Imphal on 4775 & 7335kHz and AIR-Guwahati on 4940 & 7280kHz are off the air.
