1)Akashbani (ex All India Radio AIR)Regional Stations Updates:

Akashbani Guwahati Mabhabahu on 729kHz may be off the air for a few days as I have not heard on air at my location at Abhayapuri (approx. 109km aerial distance from Guwahati).This morning i.e.June 30th too I have not heard on air.But Akashbani Guwahati Prajyotishpur (ex Guwahati B) is on air on 1035kHz as usual.This morning too I have heard good signal of it from 0255 to 0306utc.Morning News in English from Akashbani Delhi, at 0300utc the North East News Bulletin in English from Akashbani Shillong,from 0305utc onwards station idd etc in Assamese & followed by Assamese Modern song program-first song on air sung by Rupam Bhuyan.

Akashbani Goalpara on 102.6MHz is for several months now relaying Akashbani Guwahati Mabhabahu programs.Here at my location( aerial distance approx. 22-25km),the reception has been excellent.But I think it is not following signing on time of Akashbani Guwahati Mabhabahu as such, it is on air late in the morning perhaps due to power problem or other technical problems.

2)Akashbani Nepali External Service on 15410kHz:

Yesterday i.e.on June 29th, instead of regular programs of Akashbani Nepali on 15410kHz(via SPT Bengaluru 500kW), a Hindi music was on air and also sometimes strong hum observed without any audio.Also I did not heard Morning News Relay from Delhi on air too. But today on June 30th, regular regular programs of Akashbani Nepali Service has been heard and no hum as such too observed but with slight noise plus overmodulation type audio(usually there).

Akashbani Nepali Service is on air in the morning on 15410kHz during 0145-0315utc.And now-a-days, Akashbani Nepali Service programs comes from Akashbani Kuersong production centre and in the morning from 0230-0300utc, the Morning News in Hindi & English(0245-0300utc) from Akashbani Delhi is on air.

3)Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation(SLBC) External Service Hindi:

SLBC Hindi is still on air on 11905kHz only during 0200-0230utc slot with its program of old Hindi film songs.But it has been observed now-a-days the transmission ends abruptly a few minutes earlier even without signing off annoucement.

Still it is not on air on 11905kHz during 0030-0100utc slot after its discontinuation from a few seasons earlier.

4)Radio Romania International(RRI) English At Abhayapuri:

Now-a-days, RRI English's transmission's reception on its target transmissions (0300-0356utc on 17790kHz & 0530-0556utc on 17760/21550kHz) has improved at my location as per my monitoring for sometime.

0300-0356utc on 17790kHz To India on analog AM

Though slight to sometimes moderate interference(as side band splatter +-10kHz) from neary by broadcasting stations, but due to strong signal strength of RRI English now-a-days, the audio can be copied to large extent.

0530-0556utc on 17760/21550kHz

The reception is slightly noisy on 17760kHz than 21550kHz.

RRI English once was a good verifier of reception reports with printed QSL Cards.In fact, they used to bring out a series featuring every aspects of Romania every year.

5)Bhutan Broadcasting Service(BBS) Nepali on 96.0MHz:

Bhutan Broadcasting Service(BBS) is audible loud and clear in the morning hours for a long time now on 96.0MHz here at my place.As per their Nepali Language signing on annoucements (from 0400utc onwards) , they maintain still be on air on 6035kHz shortwave along with 96.0 & 92.0MHz etc now.But nothing audible here on 6035kHz for a few years now.
