From My Collection Bohag Bihu Special
In April 1988 Edition Of A Very Popular Bengali Magazine , there were many articles on Bihu & Assamese Culture written by well known Assamese persons from various fields & several reports.(perhaps a few of them translated in Bengali also)...and ads from Govt Of Assam's various department in Assamese plus ads from various private business organisation..One such is from Philips...in Assamese And a few days back, I found the post from my Facebook Memories collection .Actually, I was posted by me a few years back in my Facebook Page after I found out the magazine from my mother's collection of books and magazines. And as we are still in Bohag Month ...and celebrating Rongali Bihu...formally in functions..around Assam...and its right time to share the ad.

I was very much touched by a post on a social media platform by a ham on World Amateur Radio Day which reminds us about those hams who are no longer with us i.e. they have become silent keys ( their keys has become silent) , their voices still ringing on our ears and also recalling their callsigns, the post reminds us to remember all amateurs who are no longer with us.
Yes, once voice which I still remember in my ear, perhaps the first amateur radio operator of Assam state of India (my home state) from Nagaon , to be on air , Silent Key VU2RCH, who left us in November ,2018 under tragic circumstances. Yes, he is longer with us but I always remember him as one of the pioneer of the amateur radio in Assam & also in the entire North East Region of India.
Here is a recording of the Voice Of VU2RCH..
More reports/observations plus more amateur radio related news etc soon.
