1.Radio Romania International(RRI) English

11825kHz (Galbeni,Romania-300kW)

0300-0330utc (with a few shorter break periods in my monitoring to check other frequencies)

Good Signal strength with slight fading,signal weakened after 0325utc onwards

Opening usual annoucements etc by male voice,News,The Week In Review,song of the day,World Of Culture,Radio Romania Encyclopedia

Monitor's Note:

During last winter season(B21), I observed that there was no transmission of Radio Romania International(RRI) English on analog AM mode on the morning hours i.e.as per earlier 0400-0456utc directed towards India and both the frequenies instead on DRM mode of transmission perhaps directed to India.Perhaps I guess ,this is because the RRI-English transmission directed to North America East Coast on 41mb long standing frequency on 7325kHz is usually well heard in India from 0100-0156utc during winter season of broadcasting i.e.B season.Anyway let us see, what RRI decides for upcoming B22 winter season of broadcasting from October 30th.

2.Radio Taiwan International(RTI) English

RTI English's present shortwave schedule as per my monitoring now

0300-0400utc on 15320kHz

1600-1700utc on 9405kHz

On May 15th, I heard RTI-English with good signal around 0303utc for a few minutes.

Later at night, around 1600utc for a few minutes I heard RTI-English on 9405kHz with extremely strong signal.

3.Radio Japan NHK World via Yamata,Japan(300kW)

a)English 1405utc(1400-1430utc)-1410utc 11815kHz

Good signal but facing slight to moderate co-channel interferece(QRM) from CGTN Radio English i.e. rebranded China Radio International(CRI)-English.

Good signal strength,slightly noisy and slight fading was there
