Due to rain & thunder, I stopped monitoring after 0750ist & disconnected antenna etc from the RIG, a few minutes later a huge lightning strike took place with flashing of light & huge sound heard, 

An interesting Info received via OM VU3NYV from Shillong this morning .

Around 0815ist on 7090kHz lsb, he made a voice contact with  a Guwahati based station VU2JDH with  45 55 report , VU2JDH operating on QRP perhaps with 3-4 Watt. I have not heard about this station VU2JDH earlier. Let me check my callsign database.Let me monitor VU2JDH myself on 40mb in coming days in the morning.And thanks to OM VU3NYV from the Scotland of the East , Shillong for sharing this information.

OM VU3NYV is also working on a few homebrewing antenna projects and also working on a QRP (less than 5W) 40mb ssb transreceiver .It is to reminded all his HF antennas he has used so far all are homebrewed by him. Hope in future, I will share more of his homebrewing actitives related to Amateur Radio.He has also great interest in broadcasting band listening shortwave, medium wave & FM too. I understand he is a very busy man. Still, I hope ,he will share his loggings of BC Stations.

Before ending this post on series of latest monitoring reports, I like to share a very important information about a deadline of Wireless & Planning Coordination Wing(WPC)  to all amateur radio license holders of India specially those who have obtained  their respective amateur radio licenses manually prior to 2020,  who are yet to migrate to  the new digital format of  license.
