Radio Japan NHK World Bengali 's New Schedule

As per announcement in Radio Japan Bengali Service sunday Mailbag Program on March 20th during 1310-1329utc on 5895kHz,from March 27th ,2022 sunday ( start of A22 summer season of international broadcasting) , its new frequency will be on 11655kHz from 1500utc onwards (8:30PM in India,9:00PM in Bangladesh, midnight 1200 AM in Japan).And the transmission will be from Yamata,Japan after a long break.And no mention about duration of the transmission was made during the announcement as far as I could recall.As per HFCC A22 database released on their website ( the link http://hfcc.org/data/a22/index.phtml) ,the transmission is of duration of 30 minutes and but will have to actually check the exact duration of the transmission on air.

In short Radio Japan Bengali effective March 27th to October 29th 0f 2022
from 1500utc on 11655kHz via Yamata (300kW)

Here is a few DX News items related to Radio Japan Bengali Service which I like to share with you all.

Radio Japan NHK World Bengali 60th Anniversary Special Program:

Radio Japan Bengali Service will be completing its 60th year on air on April 3rd this year.To mark this occasion , Radio Japan Bengali Service is planning to air special programs on April 3rd (saturday)and 4th(sunday).Listeners are requested to tune into these special 60th anniversary programs.

Change of Shortwave  Frequency & Transmitter Site  In Spring Summer Season:

Radio Japan Bengali Service is changing its frequency on shortwave from March 28th,2021 with the start of so called A21 season of broadcast.

The new frequency of broadcast is 15365kHz from 1300 to 1345utc.

This will be relayed from Dhabayya,United Arab Emirates(UAE).
And there will be no change of FM frequency in Bangladesh.

All this announcements were made on March 14th edition of "Katha O Sur".I heard it on shortwave.

At present,Radio Japan Bengali is broadcasting on 11685kHz (long standing all seasons frequency) relayed from Kranji,Singapore. during 1300-1345utc.
