A Few Radio News Items

 Update From Sri Lanka:
Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation(SLBC) External Service Hindi transmission is now audible regularly as per schedule on 11905kHz during 0030-0059utc with overall good reception.The signal strength is good,though slight interference as a form of sideband splatter has been observed.Thanks to my radio monitor friend Mr.Avijit Mondal (VU2OWB From Khaspur,West Bengal for his monitoring tip on SLBC Hindi on 11905kHz.I did air check on March 12th on 11905kHz from 0031utc  first time after several weeks.

Myanmar Radio on 9730kHz :
No English Transmission has been heard on 9730kHz as per skd from 0230 to 0330utc for several days now.Instead,local language programs was on air.

Adventist World Radio(AWR) Wavescan Program schedule in A21:

On March 14th edition of the program , program host Jeff White announced the A21 season schedule of  Wavescan program effective from 28th of the instant.

I was listening to the program on 6155kHz relayed from Duchanbe,Tajikistan during 1530-1600utc.The reception was not good at all due to variable signal strength plus fading slight to moderate co-channel plus side band  interference .Still managed  to copy some parts of it.But noted DXER and a regular  contributor to  Wavescan Program from several decades  Jose Jacob(VU2JOS) from Hyderabad posted the skd in facebook.I copied some of the frequenices from the post which I could note down.

1600-1630utc 9490kHz via Erevan,Armenia

                            15605kHz via Madagascar

to Indonesia
