Some preliminary B26 Reception Observations...

Here is a few rough observations on some of the frequencies of the latest B26 frequencies  from the very first day to a few days.

No transmission of BBC World Service(BBCWS) of English to South Asia during 0000-0200utc & 1200-1400utc on shortwave analog mood from today. This is one of the highlight of B26 season.

Station KNLS English Alaska via MWV LOUD ..ALMOST CLEAR ON 13760kHz S9 Plus slight QSB...here ..on both slot as per my random monitoring 0200-0258utc..& 0300-0358utc..

Radio Romania International(RRI) English  on 15210kHz 0403utc heard weak signal ..music song by YL on air perhaps...not sure it's RRI ENG...could not monitor 17780kHz 0630-0656utc..will check both frequencies for sometime

RADIO PHILIPINAS WORLD SERVICE ENGLISH STILL on 15640, 17750 & 21720kHz loud & clear during 0200-0330utc..I think tomorrow they will be on their new B26 frequencies..viz. 12020, 15640 & 17655kHz ..let me check & report tomorrow. I think they will change to B26 frequencies from tomorrow i.e.October 26th.

Akashvani External Service Sindhi around 0120utc on 9870kHz S7 QSB slightly noisy ...

China Radio International(CRI) URDU 0100-0200utc on trace of Signal on 13695kHz  on parallel 7240kHz chinese language station was broadcasting ..will check .further in coming days

Hope Radio English via Medron, Palau very weak signal but could be copied  on 15680kHz (Sunday only) around 0138utc

CRI NEPALI @0141utc on 11860kHz S9 30dB ..Parallel 13780kHz @0142utc S9 30dB ..

Akashvani Ext. Serv. Nepali @0148utc on 15410kHz via SPT BENGALURU S9 20dB touching .

CRI BENGALI 0200utc> 11640 9655 kHz ..blasting ....S9 ++...

FEBA URDU ON 7320kHz  @0203utc S9 20dB Via Dhabhyaa UAE slight QSB also slight hum on the audio

CRI TAMIL (0200-0300utc slot) On 13600kHz only noise audible nothing audible @0205utc  & on parallel 17655kHz ,@0207utc nothing too audible ..
CRI NEPALI(0230-0330utc slot) ...on 13780kHz @0234utc S9 30dB & on  the parallel 11730kHz @0235utc S8 20dB , on 11860kHz no signal

CRI Tamil (0300-0400utc slot) on 13730kHz @0303ist S9 5dB, on the parallel 13600kHz @0305utc S9 10dB

Radio New Zealand Pacific English 9700kHz 1155utc onwards for a few minutes,  Noisy signal, difficult to copy properly, 

Music etc on air, time signal at 1200utc , news by YL 

Here Wavescan S9 15dB slightly noisy with slight QSB...1230utc...onwards .upto 1258utc with good overall reception.

Voice of Turkey URDU 1300utc 15390kHz S9 15-20dB maximum slight QSB & noise..opening announcement by YL

BBCWS English on 21565kHz(Via MADAGASCAR) towards South East Asia perhaps from 1319utc ....S9 20dB touching...

BBCWS 21565kHz loud here usually during 1200-1400utc directed to . ...let me check on Saturday on 12095kHz ....& Other frequencies for Africa regions .....whether i audible or not...

AWR Assamese 1330utc 17735kHz carrier coming & going no audio ...still latest 1334utc...what's going on.?

Then the audio around 1335utc and overall reception was good.

KBS World English 1400utc onwards on 9630kHz:

Yes Sir...strong signal of other language tx heard here on 9630kHz...may be from October 26th kbs world will take over 9630kHz the B26 frequenies like Radio PHILIPINAS.

Anyway KBS world English on 31mb during 1400-1600utc useless here ..due heavy co,-channel adjacent interference strong to moderate like voice of Mongolia...on 12085kHz during 0900-0930utc

News is disappointing for Radio Tehran..

Hindi 11640kHz(1420-1520utc slot) @1420utc for a few minutes nothing heard...

Bengali (1423-1523ist slot) @1423utc  Nothing audible on both 11710/12055kHz 

Will monitor further ..all time slots frequencies .

Meanwhile OM VU2JOS from Hyderabad reported good signal of Radio Tehran in English on 11710kHz in there.

Trans World Radio(TWR) Manipuri(1430-1445utc slot Sunday) on 17700kHz via Madagascar heard @1430utc S9 5dB...

Vatican Radio Hindi(1430-1450utc slot)

17790kHz @1431utc poor noisy & parallel 15490kHz @1432utc S7 QSB

Earlier Radio Japan English to South East Asia (1400-1420utc Slot ) @1409,utc onwards for a few minutes end of feature program, music, announcements frequency notice, website info etc etc, signature tune station. Id. Announcements repeats...S7-S8 but slighly NOISY ..fading (QSB)also there

Radio PHILIPINAS World Service English  has been on air on new B26 FREQUENCIES...12020, 15640 & 17665kHz ...from 0200utc .. the reception excellent on all three frequencies.

RRI Eng today audible today here on 15210,kHz from 0401utc after initials  break down of signal after a few seconds several times...later heard for a few minutes of. news ..presented by YL  S5-S7 QSB, .a weak co-channel QRM heard unid language station.....have to monitor further...will check 17780kHz from 0630utc ...

CRI TAMIL 0200-0300utc 13600kHz not heard any thing , 9800kHz 11870kHz 

13600kHz may be deleted or off air not sure...

CRI Tamil @0220utc 9800kHz S9 10dB & a few moment later on the parallel 11870kHz  S9 15dB...on 13600kHz nothing audible ..

CRI URDU 0200-0300utc slot nothing audible here on 11650 & 9450kHz ..@0228utc today

BBCWS English  2335utc 11645kHz(South East Asia perhaps as target area) via MADAGASCAR not audible
