First Monitoring Report For A25

As new season (summer) season of international radio broadcasting has begun from March 30th(last sunday of March) and will remain effective upto October 25th(last saturday of October).And from October 26th( last sunday of October) ,the winter season of international broadcasting will start and it will be effective upto March 28th(last saturday of the next year i.e.2026).There is need of changes of frequenies  due to earth's ionosphere which varies due to seasonal changes.Interested persons can search the net and can find more detail information about radio wave propagation and international broadcasting matters.

Here is a few initial A25 season logs which I like to share .

First log which I like to share of Wavescan,Global DX Program now produced at Radio Miami International(WRMI),Okeechobee, Miami,Florida relayed first time via Reach Beyond Australia(RBA) via Kununurra(100kW),Australia...

1400-1429utc 11870kHz  S5-S7  slight QSB slightly noisy..
No interference overall reception could be termed as good.But I could not check the transmission to Japan on monday i.e.on March 31st also via RBA Kununurra  on 17650kHz during 2230-2300utc.

I will check on ensuing mondays where the transmission is audible here or not.

Radio Japan NHK World  Bengali on 11655kHz was heard with strong signal strength here on March 30th from 1500utc onwards.

Voice Of Turkiye English on 11660kHz was heard with S5-S9 signal strength (obviously QSBi.e. fading there from time to time) from 1653utc onwards(my aircheck time) .I monitored for a few minutes.Its schedule is  1630-1730utc on 11660kHz directed to India Afghanistan, Pakistan,  Uzbekistan & Turkmenistan.I think transmission ends atleast 5-10 minutes earlier.

March 31st:

BBC World Service English heard on 9510kHz(via Tashkent)/12095kHz(via Oman) during 0000-0200utc.During my random check several time periods, better reception on 12095kHz that 9510kHz.Will have to check more in more detail about other frequencies during different periods of BBC World Service English directed to South Asia.

But on 1413kHz(medium wave relay primarily via Oman) nothing of BBC in English heard during morning plus evening/night hours so far here during 0030-1600utc in several monitoring spells.

Voice Of Turkiye Urdu is now on a differnt frequency(i.e. 17580kHz ..perhaps fast time during summer ) during  their usual summer time schedule of 1200-1300utc.I heard good signal strength with slight QSB(fading) on March 31st during a last three minutes of the transmission.There was Turkish music , signing off announcement followed by station music and signing off around 1254utc abruptly.As mentioned earlier,its transmission ends 5 to 10 minutes earlier.I think this is for technical reasons perhaps.
