Better  Days  if not the best days  Of Monitoring DX Stations On 40mb In The Morning Are Back!!!

As we enter the winter season, the signals of the Hambel Belgaum Net on 7050kHz lsb specially the prenet session from 0620 to 0700ist and from 0700ist the Net itself  for 10 minutes or so  is now audible as per my monitoring observations for a week or so.I can now receive VU2RZA from Chennai the most consistent and reliable reception station on 40mb from Sothern India in recent times ,here in my place and as far as away in Eastern Assam and even in Naharlagun , Arunachal Pradesh.A few days back,senior ham VU3WTS,OM Bimal Chutia received excellent signal of VU2RZA 59 on his BITX 40 with inverted V dipole 40mb from his location at Titabar 18km away from Jorhat In Eastern Assam as per information received.

And this summer from last week of March upto September , the reception of 7050kHz lsb & on 40mb(7000-7200kHz) in general in the morning has not been good at all for DX receptions.There was heavy noise most of the time and difficult to copy DX Stations in the morning on 7145kHz lsb.And even VU2RZA's signal from Chennai was not audible and some occasions audible but very weak.And later , getting annoyed with poor reception on 40mb, a few hams perhaps dismantled their 40mb antenna system (for the time being measure HI HI) installed 20mb antenna and became on air on 20mb in the evening.And another thing I have observed many have opted for  multiband End Feed Half Wave(EFHW) Antenna during the summer.Earlier also , I heard many using this type of antenna.

The reception on 7145kHz lsb in the morning where usually amateur radio operators of Eastern India (also from other parts of India) ,from the North East and Bangladesh joins, has improved and listening many stations on air specially on weekends & holidays.
