Station KNLS Alaska English via Madagascar World Voice(MWV) A Reception Update

The Station KNLS Alaska English to India & South West Asia

via Madagascar World Voice(MWV) is on air daily during 0200-0258utc & then from 0300-0358utc on 13760kHz .

And a few latest reception observations of Station KNLS Alaska English via MWV.

Receiver:Grundig Yacht Boy 400

External Antenna:Long Wire multistranded Copper wire 79ft long 35ft height approx. RG6 coaxial cable feedline etc

Place Of Reception:Abhayapuri(Assam)(India) 

All time mentioned  in  Coordinated Universal Time(utc) 

On January 23rd..

Acting on an alert message from a Senior radio monitor from Hyderabad,I monitored  the Station KNLS English on 13760kHz and found that it  was without audio but with strong carrier around 0347utc onwards.And very weak co-channel interference might be Voice of Korea .Music could be audible in the background.

However, On January 24th,I heard Strong Signal of KNLS English on 13760kHz both during 0200-0258utc and 0300-0358utc.

On January 25th..

On that day there was slight to moderate interference as a form of side band splatter from a broadcasting station broadcasting on 13770kHz during the entire nearly two hours of broadcasting on 13760kHz  of KNLS English via MWV.

On January 27th..

I have not found any QRM (interferece as such ) today during my several monitoring spells on 13760kHz during 0200-0358utc.

To sum up, sometimes QRM co-channel very weak from Voice Of Korea,North Korea(DPRK) & sometimes sideband splatter from neary by frequencies viz 13770kHz comes up.Also sometimes,I have observed noise etc from time to time not on regular basis.Overall the reception is satisfactory here on 13760kHz both during 0200-0258utc & 0300-0358utc.And sometimes due to technical error, we may miss the audio like on January 23rd.
