Here is a few BC band monitoring updates & logs which I like to share with you all for sunday March 12th.

Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation(SLBC) External Service Hindi Update
On 12th March(sunday), from 0209 to 0230utc I monitored SLBC Ext Ser. Hindi on 11905kHz and found its modulation i.e.audio signal missing from time to time within short interval and then coming back ..during entire monitoring period and the carrier was there.The signal strength was good.And I recently observed from time to time in this transmission.There might be some technical problem somewhere.Let me monitor for a few days during the entire transmission period 0200-0230utc.

First A23 Frequency Update Heard On Air:
And A23 season is fast approaching.....A23 season effective March 26th to October 28th,2023
It was heard on Radio Japan NHK World Urdu Service's sunday Mailbag Program.."Dewankhana" on March 12th (sunday), that Radio Japan Urdu will be on air 9440kHz from 1600-1619utc from March 26th onwards.
Brief summary of reception..on March 12th..
Radio Japan Urdu 1600-1619utc 11620kHz (Via Yamata-Japan,300kW) Strong signal,no noise as such,overall reception excellent and only sunday Mailbag program was aired,
It is to be noted inveral signal with annoucements of station identification in English & Japanese of Radio Japan NHK World can be heard as early as 1556utc onwards on that frequency.
Radio Japan Bengali 1520-1530utc 11610kHz (Via Yamata-Japan,300kW)
slight noisy,good signal,Sunday Mailbag Program,Katha O Sur
Radio Japan Hindi 1538-1550utc 11610kHz (Via Yamata-Japan,300kW)
Good signal strength,slightly less noise than was in the Bengali Service
BBC World Service English 1633-1653utc 12065kHz (Kranji-Singapore,250kW)
Signal strength varied from good to fair,slight fading was there,noise also there later,but good copy,Sportsworld program on air,running commentry of football match going on between Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
I observed the reception was excellent on this frequency earlier but as we are moving to summer, the reception quality also going down.
