Monitor's Note:
From the start of A23 season of international broadcasting i.e.effective March 26th(sunday),Radio Japan NHK World Bengali Service program contents has undergone major  changes. These are..
In first place, the transmission duration will be of 20 minutes duration like Hindi & Urdu Services. From Monday to Friday  there is one minute of opening announcement,9 minutes of news,10 minutes of Japanese Easy Learning courses. And on saturday & sunday, there is one minute of opening annoucement and 19 minutes of feature programs. And another interesting information, the long standing sunday Mailbag Program's name ..Katha O Sur..has been changed to Katha Mala Japan Theke.I missed its first edition on air on March 26th due to bad weather. And another thing on saturday & sunday news will be available on the internet on the website  as I understand.I am not sure what feature program will be on air on saturday.Let me check.
The transmission schedule is as per my above log  and is from Yamata ,Japan as before.

Voice Of Turkey English
1627-1653utc 11660kHz (Emirler-Turkey,500kW)
Strong signal strength(QSA),slight QSB(fading) sometimes, sometimes for brief period audio looks like slightly over modulated, but overall good,no problem in copying
Interval signal-music followed by station identification announcement in male voice, time signal around 1630utc,opening announcements of VOT English schedules-address of correspondence etc by a lady announcer, news read by a male presenter, followed by review of Turkish Press,Political feature etc, music -Turkish songs
The audio file link recorded around 1631utc:
Voice Of Turkey English used to be a good verifier of reception reports and also used to send useful gift items for day to day use.Though, for several years now,I have not sent any reception reports to the station, but whenever I get time I tune to the Voice Of Turkey English & Urdu transmission.

A few short  infos..
Bangladesh Betar External Service in Arabic noted with slight hum and rough audio on 4750kHz  around 1620utc.
The audio link recorded:
Radio Taiwan International English noted with extremely strong signal on 9405kHz around 1622utc( just like a local FM Station HI HI).Also Voice of Vietnam English also noted with strong signal on 7220kHz during 1623-1627utc signing off.

Carrying The Balance From B22..Into A23
From Monitor's Radio Account Book BC Section!!!
Myanmar Radio in local language in the morning(0130?-0330utc..onwards ....) on 9730kHz has not been heard here from several weeks in towards the end of  B22 season  to a few days of A23 season as per my monitoring here around 0200-0330utc.Sometimes another station I am not sure this is Myanmar Radio can be heard .I am not sure whether it is Burmese language or any dialects..I will keep a close watch on the frequency. If it is on air may be not  getting signals here but I can not accept it from heart as its transmission is well heard here with loud and clear signal..
Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) External Service Hindi transmission is still on air  as in B22 season on 11905kHz during 0200-0230utc only in this A23 season effective March 26th.The first half of transmission is on SLBC website as before.

More monitoring observations/reports etc soon
