BBC switching into IP Only By 2030
British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) is planning to end its traditional broadcasting platforms including shortwave and present day television platforms etc by 2030 and will move to Internet Protocol(IP) i.e. online internet platforms.You can find the detail story here in the following links.

Primarily To Japan, 2230-2300utc 17650kHz
via Kununurra(KNX)(100kW),Australia
Here is the recording of Wavescan via Kununurra(KNX) Reach Beyond Australia..
on 11870kHz around 1427utc on May 18th sunday last.
On May 18th, I heard Wavescan via Reach Beyond Australia during 1400-1429utc on 11870kHz on my Grundig YB 400 with a long wire antenna with good overall reception with slight to moderate fading(QSB).
BBCWS To South Asia New Frequencies In The Evening:
BBC World Service has changed a few frequencies to South Asia in the evening.And its English Service is now audible on 17825kHz during 1200-1259utc and on 11830kHz during 1300-1359utc.I think BBCWS English is not on air on 11870kHz both during 1200-1259utc & 1300-1359utc as per their A25 schedule nowadays.
on May 21st, I checked on these two frequencies and found good reception on both these frequencies.

And these two frequencies were monitored with my Yaesu FT 891 RIG with a long wire.
I will check also on 11870kHz during 1200-1400utc further but I think this frequency is being replaced by these two frequencies viz on 17825kHz during 1200-1300utc & on 11830kHz during 1300-1400utc.
More observations//monitoring reports etc etc soon.
