New Horizon BCDX A26 Monitoring Special Part II

New Horizon BCDX Bulletin A26 Monitoring Updates
(NHDXB A26 2/27/04/26/SP)

Let's start with a few disappointing monitoring updates.
The Same Old Story Side Band Splatter/Co-channel Interference etc
The Story Is Repeating  Each Season Here At Abhayapuri:
The Case of Voice Of Mongolia, KBS World Radio on 9785kHz during 1400-1600utc, Radio New Zealand Pacific on 9700kHz during 1100-1258utc...

All my monitoring has been done with both on Yaesu FT 891 & on some cases via my Grundig Yatch Boy 400. A long wire with end feed as has been used as an external antenna for the time being. The udio recordings was done while listening on Yaesu FT 891.

Radio Voice Of Mongolia(VOM) English
On 12085kHz during 0900-0930utc
The Same Old Story Side Band Splatter from 12080kHz
The reception remains the same on VOM English on 12085kHz here. The heavy interference as  side band splatter from a broadcasting station on 12080kHz during the mentioned time slot prevents me to copy signal of that station.
Here is the audio recordings link of VOM English 12085kHz on April 3rd.
At  0900utc & the audio link:
and at 0905utc  & the audio link.
It is on rare occasion when signal strength of that  broadcasting station on 12080kHz becomes weak, you can hear some sort of audio from VOM English. This has been the case for several seasons now.
KBS World Radio  English To India
On 9785kHz via Kimjae(250kW) 1400-1600utc:
KBS World Radio English is facing severe co-channel interference from a broadcasting station on 9785kHz in this A26 season and it is diffcult to distingush which station is KBS World or which is the other station. Here is a few recording links...
On 12th April from 1359utc for a few moments  & the audio link:
On 26th April at 1401utc & the audio link:
 In English via Rangitaiki(100kW)
There has been barely audible reception of RNZ Pacific here on 9700kHz during 1059-1258utc as per my monitoring. The reception has been very noisy and only in the back ground sometimes audio audible to some extent but extremely difficult to copy.
Here is the audio clip recorded at 1247utc on April 12th & the audio link:
And some encouraging monitoring news ...
Radio Romania International(RRI) English
Via Galbeni-Bacau(300kW)
On Usual Analog Mood To India:
RRI-English is now audible here with more or less satisfactory reception  on 15330kHz during 0300-0356utc & also on 17760kHz during 0530-0556utc.Though the reception is sometimes noisy a bit plus observed fading still it is audible.
Here is a few audio clips recorded with links.
On 15330kHz

at  0324utc  on 20th April  & the audio link:
On 17760kHz on April 28th

at  0547utc & the audio link:
Radio Japan NHK World English
Via Yamata, Japan(300kW):
Radio Japan in English via Yamata is audible with good reception overall here on 11800kHz during 1400-1430utc.

at  1400utc on 12th April & the audio link:
also at 1400utc on 26th of April & the audio link:

Station KNLS Alaska Via Madagascar
Station KNLS Alaska in English is now being well heard almost regularly via its Madagascar World Voice (MWV) facility during its two transmission to India on 13760kHz from 0200-0258utc & 0300-0358utc.
Monitor's Usual Lame Excuses:
Due to frequent bad weather viz. thunderstorms, lightning with rains, sometimes spell of gusty wind  etc from March onwards it has been a challenging task for radio monitoring and safety of radio equipments & eletrical equipments . And also Mains AC Power Supply provided by our local Power Compnay also often gets disreuped due to break down eletrical supply lines (due to falling down of trees plus branches of trees & lightning strikes on power lines etc ), my typing in personal computers often gets delayed and also some logs etc have to be abandoned. Anyway, I will try to monitor radio stations & post my reports whenever it is possible.
Better Late Than Never!
And I leave you with a beautiful postcard from Radio Japan NHKWorld  Card depicting Summer Festival in Nagano Precture, which I received long back perhaps during 2000-2010.

More observations//monitoring reports etc soon.
SAYNORA !
