And its your blogger.....with a self photograph With..the painting of Lachit Barphukan , the military general of then Ahom Kingdom, whose army under his leadership defeated the invading Mughal forces, on the Brahmaputra river at  Saraighat (around Amingaon) on the north bank of the Brahmaputra, in 1671.

I still remember during my early school days, reading  comics book,the Assamese version of Lachit Barphukan  brought out by Amar Chitra Katha and the history of the battle of Saraighat.
Thanks to Abhayapuri Streets Group for painting once again at AYU(Abhayapuri Raliway Station).
Its historic & memorable occasion for me to self photograph of me with the great Ahom Warrior ,Lachit Barphukan.

I have not visited AYU from  mid March..due to outbreak Covid 19 ,where I used to visit frequently for last 7 years or so,as going by the famous Indian railways line.."Safety First.."..

This morning your former boss called me to inform me about the sad news ...Really could not believe myself..that YOU NO MORE...MY memory goes back to that afternoon when you first came to AYU to join duty..and I was there ...looking you from distant..and within a few weeks we came close to each other sharing common interest....the photography...& those were golden period of AYU...all charming personalities gathered in AYU..and you were the brightest star...numerous hours spent discussing about train photography....overall developments in Indian Railways.etc etc.Even you shifted to New Bongaigaon with different responsibility we had been in touch ...But suddenly ..words hardly comes out now to express my feelings....
