Radio New Zealand Pacific in English is on 9700kHz during 1100-1259utc from the 13th instant in place of 11725kHz.I checked its reception on its new frequency i.e. 9700kHz on February 14th and there was strong to moderate interference as a form of side band splatter from 9705kHz.It was difficult to pick up the audio contents sometime.The interferece reduced after 1200utc.I have to monitor it for sometime.
On February 16th..
Myanmar Radio was noted with local language program (Burmese) was noted on 9730kHz around 0259utc as per my air check on that frequency for a while.

It was after a long break that on that evening that I got excellent condition on Medium Wave and monitored for over an hour with little noise both man made or static.I besides the stations mentioned above I heard many stations on that evening like AIR Baranasi A on 1242kHz,AIR Patna A on 621kHz,AIR Guwahati FM Mahabahu Medium Wave feed on 729kHz ,China Radio International's transmissions on various languages on Medium Wave frequencies including 1188kHz, Bangladesh Betar's regional stations on many medium wave frequencies other than mentioned above & AIR's Radio Maitri on 594kHz etc.

I treat every day as World Radio Day..Still
I am celebrating my attachment with Radio from right from my childhood..the traditional analog shortwave...mediumwave radio ....but do not think I can accept the Radio's adaptation to change of technology ...changes with the world.....but I have no control over it...Radio will not be the same....in fact changing...

I heard later several CQ call from AT2WRD operated by VU2JFA on that frequency with extremely strong signal, VU2NIL from Kharagpur was also heard with giving call weak signal,but could not copy each other.

AIR Kolkata Geetanjali On Shortwave 11560kHz
On February 8th, at the evening, I was watching the facebook posts on my mobile (around 1416utc) and I came across a post of Jose Jacob(VU2JOS),Hyderabad alert about AIR Geetanjali Kolkata (in Bengali) was on 11560kHz perhaps due to wrong feed put on wrong channel of AIR transmitter site(Bengaluru ?) on that frequency .And I rushed to my radio desk and switched on my radio to check it up myself.And I found strong signal of the station there. As a part of policy changes of AIR , a few years back perhaps AIR Kolkata A broadcasting on medium wave 657kHz on the medium wave renamed as AIR Kolkata Geetanjali.

0835Hr for two minutes or so on 7145kHz on AM Mode
i.e. A3E class of emission:
9N1CA & VU2OWB went to AM mode to check reception quality on their respective location.I could copy both the station.9N1CA copied perfectly but VU2OWB with slight break in transmission..audio clipping type( might be due to PTT problem)-might slight distortion might be there as pointed out by 9N1CA.VU3OKT also joined on AM mode as breaker you could say I only heard once giving his report to VU2OWB.
It was a good experiment to check reception quality in AM Mode also from time to time.
Later they returned to J3E mode of transmission.
Later,VU3WTS,OB Bimalendu Chutia from Titabar,Assam a friend of mine gave call on that frequency but there was no response.

Its my pleasure to share my experience of listening to A3E mode of transmission of amateurs.
First time I heard amateurs operating on A3E class of emission i.e. AM mode between Late VU2RCH from Nagaon(Assam) & VU3YPB OM Paresh Brahma from Guwahati on 7070kHz .The reception was noisy weak copy of VU2RCH as far as I could remember.One and half years back VU3TQF,OB Ravi Boro from Guwahati gave transmission on AM mode on 40mb to check his home built transreceiver.After that VU3OIP ,Sultan Saleh Ahmed from Barpeta Town,so far my nearest active station also tested reception on AM mode from his newly bought Yaesu FT450D with me.Also a few years back two senior amateurs of India also tested reception with each other on 40mb in the morning on AM mode.I heard their QSO.And today morning ... another occasion to tune into AM transmission by amateurs on 40mb!!
I am still in monitoring / listening mode because I transceiver is not yet ready.I may be on air within this year or so.

Myanmar Radio Is Back On Shortwave on 9730kHz
Today morning during my routine aircheck around 0217utc onwards I found Mynamar Radio back on air in local language airing local modern songs with short talk by a lady presenter with good signal strength.I think perhaps this is the first time Myanmar Radio back on air on 9730kHz after the miliary take over of the administration of Myanmar.The English transmission has begun as per earlier skd at 0230utc onwards with opening annoucement etc and news etc.But all are under a different administration.

Myanmar Radio on 9730kHz Off The Air The Story Of The Morning
Today, around 0300utc I checked as I do regularly in the morning ,reception quality Myanmar Radio English on 9730kHz(0230-0330utc usual time slot) and found no signal there of that station.I did not find it anything unsual as it happened earlier also.But I received a message from my friend ,a well known BC DXER, he also observed the station off the air and mentioned further that it might be due to military coup in Myanmar.And I checked on the net and read several stories via BBC website on the news about this monday morning military coup in Myanmar.

Voice Of Mongolia English In Abhayapuri On 12085kHz During 0900-0930utc A Case Of The Same Old Story..Of Interference from 12080kHz
The reception of Voice Of Mongolia(VOM) English during 0900-0930utc on 12085kHz is just like preveious several seasons... the same old story of ..moderate to strong interference from a broadcasting station on 12080kHz as a form of sideband splatter.Its has been very diffcult to copy the signal of VOM English.Its on rare occasion when I the station's signal on 12080kHz becomes weak or the signal of VOM English becomes stronger due to favourable propagation condition I can copy VOM English sometime for a shorter duration as per my observations over several reasons.
This happened on January 22nd of this year..

RX:Grundig Yacht Boy 400
ANT: 75-78 Feet Length 33-35ft Feet Height
Multstranded Cu .75sq mm Wire(Approx)

The signal VOM English was strong and sideband interference from 12080kHz was slight and I could copy of the signal contents from 0914utc onwards interference (side band splatter from 12080kHz) became moderate to heavy ,the signal of VOM was relatively strong.From 0920utc onwards heavy interference came and VOM's signal was not copied at all.

News was on air presented by a lady ,end of news around 0910utc,Music song in Mongolian,0914utc station idd. annoucement by lady-next feature program.

Voice Of Mongolia English used to verify reception reports with printed QSL Cards.I received several printed QSL Cards from it.Mrs Densmaa, Mail Editor Of VOM used to sign those QSL Cards.Here is the scanned copy of the front & back side of my first QSL Card from Voice Of Mongolia English Service.
For many years,I have not sent reception reports to it.Though I sent many correspondence via emails about poor reception of Voice Of Mongolia English here in my area and made sugguestion for change of frequency etc.But might be due to good reception of in vast parts of the target area they did not change frequency or time slot etc of this broadcast.

Here is a few intertesting monitoring information I like to share with you.
Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation(SLBC) External Service Hindi:
Heard with good signal from 0052 to 0059utc on 11905kHz
Music-song in Chrous,then announcement of time by a lady presenter,song followed, and the transmission ended suddenly around 0059utc with music (song) on air without any formal announcement.

It is to be noted that SLBC External Service Hindi transmission has not been heard for several weeks on 11905kHz during its now only transmission during 0030-0059utc.
Station KNLS Alaska English via Madagascar World Voice(MWV):
0352-0355utc approx. 13760kHz Good Signal
Christian Music,Creation Moment,Promo announcement about music on air in New Life Station etc,suddenly audio gone,but carrier was there for sometime
I think after several days break,KNLS English via MWV back on air on 13760kHz during 0300-0356utc.Anyway let me check it for a few days.It is to be noted that for several days KNLS English via MWV is not heard here and might be off the air.

PS:I did monitor on January 29th and I could not hear signal of SLBC Hindi on 11905kHz around 0050utc.
