Monitor's Special Mention: 

VU3HZT,OM Vijay Sonam has achieved a special mile stone this month.He has just passed the silver jubilee of number of countries..i.e. 25th country mark country wise.He has made several hundreds of QSOs on J3E mode mostly on  40mb 20mb 15 mb etc after going on air  with his own initiative overcoming initial set backs from  3rd week of August 2021.And it is to be noted he is the only active amateur radio station (on HF) from Arunachal Pradesh.I like to congratulate him on passing this mile stone.

He is also taking personal interest to popularize the hobby in Arunachal Pradesh.And recently, he gave a short demonstration of how to making contacts on air on HF from his Alinco transceiver fitted in his vehicle  with a long wire antenna with auto tuner in North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology( NERIST),Itanagar campus  and he made a QSO with a Guwahati based ham who gave him report of 57 and he was 55.VU3HZT also had  discussion with faculty members and students of Electronics  & Mechanical Departments of NERIST  and they had decided to held a workshop on amateur radio in future  there.Here is a few photographs of his visit to NERIST,Itanagar.
