Finally Heard Radio Nepal On 5005kHz On September 25

Its my pleasure to inform you all that after random monitoring of  Radio Nepal on 5005kHz for several days during  0830-1115utc, finally I heard the signal on the afternoon of September 25th(2018) from 1037utc to 1111utc.The Signal faded away & also noise level increased after 111utc approx..& nothing audible as such.I used both my Grundig YB 400  with AC Adaptar.9V & GRUNDIG YB 80 Rx on battery with my EXT ANT:Cu WIRE 78' Length 30' Height With COAX LEADIN .The signal strength though was fair to weak and also with low audio intensity (low modulation) but whenever music was played its audio intensity became higher..There was moderate fading sometimes.There was live call-in show with listeners plus music was played as I undestood listening to it.Also hum was also observed. And I like to mention further the language of the broadcast was in Nepali Language.

A Few Radio Loggings Plus General Observations On July 6 2018

Here is a few  radio loggings I've done today along  with  a few general  monitoring observations.

BBC Hindi was heard on 9510kHz & 11995kHz during 0115 to 0121utc (approx.) the reception was better on 11995kHz.

Radio Japan Hindi was very weak on 9820kHz as observed around 0115utc.

SLBC Hindi 11905kHz 0209 to 0229utc (several airchecks) Good Signal now-a-days Hindi Film songs on air.

Radio Philipinas English is  heard with variable signal on all three frequencies i.e.17820,15640 & 12010kHz now-a-days right from 0200utc

Station KNLS English Via Madagascar World Voice(MWV) 9600kHz 0200-0256utc is audible here with variable reception quality.Sometimes its reception suffers from co-channel QRM & its audio slighly becomes distorted.

Myanmar Radio is now-a-days received with good signal on 9730kHz from early morning hours.And their English Language transmission starts from 0230utc.

Radio Romania International(RRI) English 11825kHz 0342 to  0356utc Good Signal slight occasional noise Cultural features plus a feature towards the end  on USA-Romania Relations,end of the transmission announcements by a male voice,music & station Idd announcements

Radio Taiwan International(RTI)-English 15320kHz 0357-0359utc Fair signal moderate fading was there slight QRM as a form sideband splatter from Japanese station broadcasting on 15325kHz.

Voice Of Mongolia English on 12085kHz during 0900-0930utc is facing heavy interference (QRM) as a form of sideband splatter from a station broadcasting on 12080kHz and as per my aircheck today the signal of Voice Of Mongolia was very difficult to copy.

 A Special Note On AIR Gangtok on 4835kHz:

During my recent monitorings for several days in the morning approx. from 0130-0330utc AIR-Gangtok on 4835kHz is received with good signal & audio.The noise(severve hum) which was often heard with the signal of AIR-Gangtok is not observed by me.Perhaps the transmitter problem has been rectified fully.Let me monitor for sometime.

Tribute...To 15310kHz

Once...All Seasons Long Time BBCWS's(English..I mean ) The Most Reliable...The Most Consistence Reception Giving..Frequency With Coverage From Morning ..Day To Late In The Evening On Air Frequency 15310kHz....as per my own assessment...from various transmitter sites of BBC...Its on rare occasions I found on reception on that frequency weak...or bad..

Now 15310kHz Only On Air With BBCWS (In English) ..from 1200-1300utc via Al Seela Oman 250kW(?). I heard BBCWS on 15310kHz  via my Grundig Yacht Boy 400 Rx with exernal copper wire of 78ft long 30 ft height with coaxial leadin on June 13th.

AIR Urdu Service Update

All India Radio(AIR)'s Urdu Service was noted again this morning i.e.April 3rd(of 2018) on 6140kHz & 7340kHz as per my several aircheck from 0105utc.The reception was far better on 6140kHz.It was not heard on 9620kHz this morning.

DX News On Last Day of 2016

Here is a few DX Infos which I like to share with you

All India Radio(AIR) Port Blair is On Air on 4760kHz:
On December 31st,I heard good signal of AIR-Portblair on 4760kHz during my air check on the station from 0032UTC onwards.It was after a several weeks that I heard the signal of AIR-Portblair on 4760kHz.As reported earlier in the group by Jose Jacob(VU2JOS) that it was off the air due to some problem in its transmitter.

A few Additional Monitoring Infos on AIR Shortwave Stations:
Also I couldn't hear the signal of  AIR-Shillong several days on 4970kHz.But on December 29th, I heard fair signal of AIR-Shillong around 0057UTC onwards.Later at the evening & night nothing audible of AIR-Shillong on 4970kHz.And On December 31st also no signal of AIR-Shillong on 4970kHz during morning during my several air check.Again AIR-Aizawl wasnot heard for past several days on 5050kHz. And now-a-days AIR-Thiruvananthapuram can be heard during morning hour with fair to good  signal.The reception quality deteriorates as the day progresses.
I recorded an  audio filearound 0046UTC of  AIR-Thiruvananthapuram in Malayalam Language.
