Monitor's A23 Observation Special

On April 2nd, instead of regular All India Radio External Service Nepali transmission on 15410kHz via SPT Bengaluru(500kW), I heard from 0230-0259utc Morning News in Hindi & English (0245utc onwards).Earlier too around 0143utc onwards for sometime,Bangla program was on air for a few minutes instead of inverval signal of AIR and the regular AIR Nepali programs(External Service) from 0145utc onwards.There was no audio later but the carrier was on.There might be some technical errors.I just ended monitoring the frequency just at the end of News Headline at English.

The monitored scheduled of AIR External Service Nepali effective March 26th to October 28th of 2023..

0145-0315utc 15410kHz 

0900-1030utc 9910kHz 11560kHz 15030kHz

and on April 2nd, I could hear the transmission during the afternoon only on one frequency i.e. on 15030kHz(via SPT Bengaluru,500kW) with strong signal strength.

On April 3rd...

But the real fact  regarding the broadcast of has come out before me on April 3rd..around 0229utc..I was monitoring AIR External Service's Nepali transmission, it was on air as I monitored it around 0209utc approx. onwards from time to time.Suddenly, around 0229utc ,I heard the annoucement in Nepali, the news would be followed from Delhi and the morning news in Hindi & English came on air and after that regular Nepali programs followed upto scheduled upto 0345utc.Though after 0300utc onwards gradually co-channel interference observed though slight.

As reported in media that AIR centre in  Kurseong from this April will be producing All Nepali programs iincluding  AIR External Service Nepali Programs in place of New Delhi.

Another important item..Back On Air..Myanmar Radio on 9730kHz..

On April 3rd ,I heard On 9730kHz in the morning in local Burmese language after a break of a few weeks.

As I mentioned in my earlier report that I heard a station with weak signal on 9730kHz in place of Myanmar Radio during 0230utc onwards for sometime, it was none other than Voice Of Islamic Republic Of Iran (Radio Tehran) Pasthu Service (0220-0320utc perhaps).And this station causing QRM on Myanmar Radio transmission & let listen to the another recorded clip on 9730kHz around 0301utc..to get idea of the QRM.
