The monitored Vatican Radio schedule on shortwave now in Hindi Tamil Malayalam Languages(20 minutes each)
from 1430 to 1530utc on 9595kHz 7320kHz both via Tinang,Philippines(250kW) Daily
The reception overall satisfactory during my time to time monitoring  though slight to moderate interference as a form of sideband splatter can be observed on both frequencies.
Here is the links to audio recordings file of Vatican Radio Hindi on both frequencies on  on January 29th..
1429utc 9595kHz
1431utc 7320kHz
KBS(Korean Broadcasting Service) World Radio English
The current schedule of KBS World Radio in English to India as per my monitoring as follows
1400-1700utc on 9630kHz  daily Kimjae,South Korea(250kW) Daily
The reception has been good now-a-days as my monitoring for several days for first one and half hour of the broadcast as per my monitoring.During initial half hour or so, I sometime have observed slight to moderate interference from a co-channel station.
The program formats has been changed now-a-days and more stress on life styles etc and present music trends etc have been observed.Though on week days I have observed news of 10 miniutes. And on the weekend,it is only back to back Korean Pop music only I guess.I have not listented to KBS World English as such for a long time for a few years now.
9630kHz 1514utc
KBS World English once was a good verifier of reception cards and they used to issue printed QSL Cards of big size  for each quarter of the year.I have lots of printed QSL Cards from KBS World Radio Seoul ,South Korea depicting every aspects of South Korea including politics -inter korean summit meeting..
Here is the scanned copy of a QSL Card  both sides ...
It is the last or 4th Quarter QSL Card of KBS World in 2007 depicting two leaders of Both Korea...South Korea's then President Roo Moo-Hyun & North Korean leader Kim Jong-il during their summit talks October 2-4th 2007 in Pyongyang,North Korea

Bhutan Broadcasting Service(BBS) on 6035kHz
The BBS is still off the air on its long standing  shortwave frequency on 49mb i.e. on 6035kHz as per my monitoring. But BBS FM Service on 96.00 via Thimphu I guess, which is heard here in my location , in the morning transmission of BBS Nepali Language transmission from 0400utc, the opening announcement still mentions its shortwave transmission frequency along with its current FM frequencies.
Here is a few audio file recordings links  of the BBS Nepali on 96.0MHz  on  January 31st
at 0400utc :

Adventist World Radio(AWR) Assamese:
As per schedule of AWR in B21 season ,AWR Assamese is on air
15550kHz from 1330-1400utc via Agat-Guam(100kW) on sundays & wednesdays
And the reception for sunday broadcast which I have monitored has been excellent.
Here is the audio file link of  last sunday broadcast i.e.on January 30th around 1357utc:

Radio Voice Of Mongolia English
My monitored schedule of Radio Voice Of Mongolia English as present
0900-0930utc  12085kHz Daily
And the overall reception quality remains the same...i.e. the same old story repeated season after season here at my place. There has been strong to moderate interference as a form of side band splatter from a station broadcasting on 12080kHz and it is on rare occasion you can listen to some extent of Voice Of Mongolia English audio on 12085kHz.As for example I could listen to the transmission to some extent on January 28th...around 0918utc.
Here is the link to the audio file recorded:

More monitoring observations etc soon.

Bible Voice Broadcasting English:
As per latest inputs from radio monitors plus a B21 Database update and also after my latest monitoring following morning transmissions observed from Bible Voice Broadcasting (Canada) in English for India I guess the prime target area.
11960kHz Yerevan-Gavar Armenia(100kW) On Tuesdays from 0200-0215utc
11790kHz Talata-Volonondry,Madagascar (125kW?) On Thursdays from 0200-0230utc
On 11960kHz on February 1st (tuesday),the good signal heard with slight noise,co-channel interference weak sometimes.Program from Hallmark(?) Gospel Radio Ministry was aired and the transmission concluded with usual Bible Voice closing annoucement.
Here is the audio link recorded at 0213utc on 11960kHz on the ist of the instant.
On February 3rd(thursday) on 11790kHz I monitored from 0218 towards the end of transmission at 0230utc.The good overall reception with slight noise sometimes etc. was observed. The program "Let The Bible Speak"  from a Northern Ireland Radio Ministry was on air and contacts addresses shared  at the end of the program and after that usual Bible voice closing annuncements aired.
Here are the links to the audio file recorded around 0226utc ...
and around 0229utc on 11790kHz of Bible Voice.

And I have in my collection a printed  QSL Card from Bible Voice English transmission wayback in 2007 for a reception report sent via email. Here is the scanned and edited version of the QSL Card both sides...
For Your Eyes Only!! Hi Hi!!!

Radio Philipinas WorldWide English:
As per my monitoring, the schedule of Radio Philipinas WorldWide English is now
0200-0330utc on 17820kHz 156640kHz 9475kHz (all from Tinang,Phipines & with 250kW)
And execpt 9475kHz the reception has been excellent on other two frequencies.
The reception is very noisy and also the signal strength usually is much weaker and it is very difficult to copy.

Radio Japan NHK World Bengali:
Radio Japan Bengali's current shortwave schedule
1300-1329utc 5895kHz via Taskent-Uzbekistan,100kW
Contarary to my earlier apprehension,Radio Japan NHK World on this frequency has been giving us more or less satisfactory overall reception right from the first day of B21 season of broadcast here with rare poor reception quality on sometime.Though the audio intensity is usually low(as the case with Tashkent transmitter) but still sometimes it gives excellent signal quality. And very weak intereference as a form of side band splatter observed on the frequency during its transmission.
Here is the recorded audio clip of Radio Japan Bengali on 5895kHz on January 30th around 1310utc:
Radio Japan NHK World Urdu
The monitored shortwave schedule of Radio Japan Urdu Service now as follows
1515-1545utc 9580kHz via Al-Dhabayya-UAE-250kW
The reception has been good overall as per my monitoring on January 30th as latest.
Here is the link of the audio clip recorded around 1515utc on January 30th:

Adventist World Radio (AWR) Wavecan The Global DX Program
Sundays Only (in English)
The monitored schedule of AWR Wavescan on sundays only as follows
1530-1600utc 15530kHz
1600-1630utc 12040kHz
both via KSDA Agat-Guam (100kW)

The reception was not very good or not audible at all for several sundays as per my monitoring. But last sunday i.e.January 30th, I heard the Wavescan program on both 15530 & 12040kHz with good reception overall, though slightly noisy. But the reception was better on 12040kHz during 1600-1630utc. There was special report on massive volcanic eruption in Pacific Ocean between uninhabited Islands of Tonga-tribute to Tonga Radio scene in Tonga, reports on media covering Tonga after Tsunami-Radio New Zealand(RNZ),Radio Australia online ..Pacific Beat...BBCWS etc ,news about HFCC A22 conference ,an exclusive report on radio stations in  Hyderabad as a part of Indian DX Report by VU3TQD aired on the program.
Here is the link to  audio file  recorded around 1531utc on 15530kHz:
Another audio file link recorded around 1626utc on 12040kHz:

The another transmission of AWR Wavescan is there as per AWR's official schedule for sundays only
2200-2230utc on 12040kHz also via KSDA Agat Guam(100kW).

General Monitoring Observations of B21 Season Of International Broadcasting Season Part I

A Few general observations of Broadcasting Stations which are heard now-a-days here in my place.
For all monitoring Observations
RX:Grundig Yacht Boy 400
ANT: 75 Feet Length  33 ft Feet Height

Location of Reception Place(Abhayapuri)(Assam)(India):NL56hi(Grid Location)

Sri Lanka Broadcast Corporoation(SLBC) External Service Hindi:
The schedule  is 0030-0100*utc & 0200-0230utc on 11905kHz
SLBC Hindi is on 11905kHz  during the first half of the transmission is now audible from 0043utc onwards with faint signal & the signal strength becomes strong after 0046 to 0050utc onwards often.I think it is on skip with us during that time. There has been  slight side band  splatter from nearby frequencies with 10kHz either side of the band from time to time specially towards the end of the transmission.
* The transmission often ends abruptly 4 minutes to 1 minutes earler as observed by me.
And the signal strength and overall reception during the 2nd half of the transmission i.e.0200-0230utc is not very good here. There has been slight to moderate co-channel interference  and also side band splatter is also there.

From Radio Peking ..Radio Beijing,...China Radio International(CRI) English Now CGTN Radio..:
It is now finally learnt CRI's English Service is now renamed itself as CGTN (China Global Television Network) Radio. After I read in a radio blog a post about this, I did check a few CRI English frequencies and I have heard that before every English broadcast you can hear this station Idd  announcement by a male .."This is CGTN Radio....".. followed by news in English..then the feature programs.
I think this is for only English programs .
Here is the audio link of the announcement etc recorded around 0700utc on 17710kHz  on January 26th..

Radio Taiwan International(RTI) English:
The present RTI English skd goes like this
For South Asia, Southern China
6100kHz 250kW Tumsai District,Taiwan(ROC) from 1600-1700utc
For Southeast Asia
15320kHz 100kW Paochung,Taiwan(ROC) from 0300-0400utc
The overall reception of RTI English on 6100kHz has been excellent as per my monitoring observations for time to time this month. The signal strength(QSA) is extremely strong and no noise and no interference as such observed during the monitoring periods.
Here is the audio recording link of RTI English on 6100kHz from 1559utc for a few seconds onwards on Janauary 22nd.
The overall reception of 15320kHz is good to fair. The signal strength is good to fair with slight to moderate fading(QSB) is observed. There is no intereference as such now most of the transmission period after Radio Japan NHK World Japansese shifting its long standing frequency of 15325kHz to other frequency a few seasons back. But from 0355utc onwards slight intereference from a co-channel station has been observed and  and by 0357utc, the interference has been severe and it is difficult t o pick the audio of RTI English for last three minutes of its transmission.
Here is the recorded audio link of RTI English on 15320kHz on Janaury 25th around 0353utc:
and on the other audio link around 0357utc:
Radio Taiwan International (RTI) English used to be a good verifier of reception reports with QSL Cards depicting various aspects of Taiwan.I have received many printed QSL cards from the station.
Here is the scanned version of one such QSL Card (both sides)

Radio Japan NHK World Hindi:
The present schedule goes like this
1430-1500utc on 15720kHz (via Madagascar,250kW)
1530-1600utc on 7565kHz (via Tashkent,100kW)
(The Repeat broadcast )
0059-0119utc  on 6155kHz (via Tashkent,100kW)
(The repeat broadcast of the feature of the previous day)

Here is the link to an audio file recorded around 1448utc on 15720kHz on January 22nd.
and another audio link on the same date around 1530utc on 7565kHz
The link to the audio recorded around 0059utc on 6155kHz on January 23rd.

You can access the reception quality by listening to the audio files yourself.
More monitoring observations etc soon.

Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) External Service Hindi:
Today it was not heard here during 0030-0059utc transmission however it was heard on the same frequency during its 2nd part of the transmission during 0200-0229utc.But the signal was not strong and slight co-channel interference and also from nearby frequency there. But yesterday on January 4th, SLBC's Hindi transmission was heard on 11905kHz during its first half of transmission with good signal strength.Today morning might be in skip. There was dense fog in the morning and poor visibility.

No signal Of RRI English To India during 0400-0456utc on 1170kHz In B21 Mystery Solved At Last:
it is because now all two frequencies for this transmission slot has been carrying DRM mode of transmission i.e.both 11790kHz  &

Radio Philipinas WorldWide English:

The reception of on 15640kHz and 17820kHz has been good. But the reception on 9475kHz is not satisfactory, noisy the signal strength is fair usually.
Here is the audio file links recorded on January 5th.
15640kHz 0201utc:
9475kHz 0202utc:
17820kHz 0203utc:
My DX Mentor cum once radio friend Mr.Tapan Kumar Pathak of my home town ,received a printed QSL Card from Radio Philipinas English Service  in 1998 and I thought him lucky to get a QSL Card response from Radio Philipinas.

Radio Voice Voice Of Mongolia English
0900-0930utc 12085kHz
The reception is usually poor with heavy interference as a form of side band splatter from 12080kHz during the entire period of broadccast. And it is on rare occasion you can hear this transmission with less interference and  atleast a few sentences and a few parts of the broadcast contents can be audible.Today I could copy to some extents of the broadcast.
Here is the audio link recorded of VOM English around 0907utc on 12085kHz:
Radio Voice Of Mongolia English used to be good verifier of reception reports and I received several different QSL Cards.
Here is a one such QSL Card (both sides scanned).

A Few General Observations On B21 Season

 Hello DXERS!!
I am very glad to post a few general observations of this  B21 season  of international broadcasting after a break of several weeks  as observed here at my place.
RX:Grundig Yacht Boy 400
ANT: 75 Feet Length  33 ft Feet Height
Multistranded Cu .75sq mm Wire(Approx)
with coax lead in
Geographical Location of Reception Place(Abhayapuri)(Assam)(India):
Longitude:26º18´20´´North
Latitude:90º37´50´´East

Radio Romania International(RRI) English  In B21 Season
0100-0156utc 7325kHz Via Galbeni(300kW)
Beam to North Amercia East Coast
Like previous several  winter seasons, this transmission is well heard  here at my place though target area is different.I, sometime, wonder what is the reason behind it as other transmissions beam to different parts not audible but this transmission in winter season with same frequnecy and time has given us consistent good reception. And it is to be noted RRI's Spanish transmission from 0000-0056utc on 7325kHz has been also giving excellent reception here.
Here is an audio clip link  recorded by me on December 5th Of RRI English on 7325kHz at 0107utc:

0400-0456utc on 11790kHz Via Galbeni,Romania(300kW)  Beam To India
I am sorry to inform right from the first day of B21 season i.e.from October 31st, no trace of signal of RRI English heard on that frequency.

0630-0656utc on 11780kHz (Via Galbeni) 21470kHz(via Tinganesti)  both 300kW
17780kHz Beam to Australia
The signal strength usually strong, with slight noise and fading sometimes.
Here is the link to the audio file recorded on December 3rd of RRI English on 17780kHz around 0631utc:

(A QSL Card(scanned version both sides) From RRI English on this transmission on same frequency way back in 2006 featuring Railways in Romania and this card featuring The Royal Train-dinning carriage.)

and on 21470kHz during 0630-0656utc  nothing audible at all of RRI-English.

Radio Voice Of Mongolia (VOM)English Service
0900-0930kHz 12085kHz Ulan Bator,250kW
The same old story of moderate to strong interference as a form of side band splatter from a broadcasting station broadcasting on 12080kHz,and very difficult to copy the audio of VOM English on 12085kHz for several seasons now.I think they should move upwards the frequency to 12100kHz or any other frequency which will free from such interference.
Here is the audio link recorded on December 3rd of VOM English on 12085kHz around 0904utc:

Radio Japan NHK World Hindi:
0059-0119utc 6155kHz via Tashkent,Uzbekistan(100kW)
There has been good reception overall of this morning repeat transmission of Radio Japan Hindi feature programs of previous day transmission.
Here is the link to the audio clip recorded on December 3rd on 6155kHz around 0117utc:
https://app.box.com/s/wfs1szfypbq7gwszhu4yh8yfm2hziv62

Radio Japan NHK World Bengali
1300-1329utc 5895kHz via Tashkent,Uzbekistan(100kW)
Contrary to my initial apprehension, Radio Japan Bengali's reception has been good overall on that frequency this B21 season right from October 31st i.e. very first day of B21 season as per my observations from time to time.
Here is the audio link recorded around 1317utc on 6155kHz on December 5th.

A Few Change Of Frequency In B21 Season

Here is a few changes of frequencies of  a few radio stations  for this ensuing B21 winter season of broadcast effective October 31,2021 To March 26,2022. I collected these information as per the respective radio stations on air announcement & technical data as posted on High  Frequency Co-ordination Conference website i.e.hfcc.org

Radio Japan NHK World Bengali
1300-1330utc 5895kHz via Tashkent (100kW)
Monitor's Note:
The choice of frequency & the transmitter is not ideal for Radio Japan Bengali transmission as 49m band is overcrowded during that time and there may be QRM etc nearby stations in the form of sideband splatter. Also I have observed the audio intensity ( or you can say modulation) is not very high.As it has been observed during the Hindi transmission of 0059-0120utc on 9820kHz in this A21 season , the signal strength not very high and audio intensity not great. Let me monitor in B21 season. And let hope for better reception.

Radio Japan NHK World Hindi
0059-0120utc 6155kHz via Tashkent (100kW)
1430-1500utc 15720kHz  via Madagascar( 250kW)
